Age 85, of Hagerstown, MD, formerly of Lincoln Park, Michigan, November 8, 2009. She was born April 17, 1924, in Yancy, Kentucky to Cam and Lola Fee. Dorothy married Otis Campbell in 1942 and moved to the Downriver area in1953.Otis died December 25, 1972. She remarried in 1977 to George Thomson of Windsor. They were married 30 years when George died March 18, 2007. Dorothy worked at several grocery stores, ran a corner market and eventually retired from Kresege’s in 1984. During her retirement years she lived in Michigan, Florida, Arizona, Washington and Maryland. She loved to play cards, walk and take care of her loved ones. Loving mother of Martha (Don) Tolstyka of Hagerstown, MD and Janice (Mike) Peters of Kirkland, WA. Dear grandmother of Brian (Sarah) Tolstyka of Martinsburg, WV, Emily (David) Huffman of Bellevue, WA, Alyson Peters of Kirkland, WA, and Joshua (Tara) Peters of Kirkland, WA, great-grandmother of 5 and great-great grandmother of 1. She is also survived by her brothers Cam (Mary) Fee of Fenton, MI, Jack (Mildred) Fee of Grand Blanc, MI, her sisters Betty (the late Joe) Flanary of Howell, MI, Charlene (the late Herb) Burris of Flint, MI, Melda (Ira) Neubauer, of Trenton, MI and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, her parents, five brothers and two sisters.
