COLLINS, James D., age 73, of Flat Rock, October 23, 2023. Beloved husband of Sharon Collins. Loving father of Bobbette (Doug), Ricksard, James (Amy), and Christopher (Tina). Dearest grandfather of Whitney, Michael, Candice, Ashleigh, Tyler, Jeremy, Chelsea, Sarah, Tiffany, and great-grandfather of Paislee, Jaxson, and Maya. He is survived by his siblings Donald (Christine), Manuel (Carol), Sharon (Johnny), and Diane (Stoney). He is preceded in death by his mother Gay Yates, and brother and sister-in-law Jimmy and Teresa Gwen Collins. His cremation will take place at “The Witness Crematory” located inside of Michigan Memorial Funeral Home.

Jay was a special man a great neighbor and an even better friend I will miss his greatly. Sharon was his whole world he absolutely loved her. He complained about yard work but loved to do it. I hope his family really knew how much he loved them and how proud he was of them all. God bless you Jay you will always have a place in my heart and my family’s memories of a good man.
