CORTESE, Janice M., age 79, of Flat Rock, November 27, 2021. Beloved wife of the late Nick Cortese. Loving mother of Richard (Lynn) Cortese, William (Terry Brewer) Cortese and Delana (Anthony) Renko. Dearest grandmother of Richard, Caleb, Nick, Christopher and Marianna and great-grandmother of Hendrix. She is also survived by her sister Barbara Edwards, her daughter-in-law Michelle Cortese, many nieces and nephews and her furbaby Chloe. She is preceded in death by her son John Cortese, her father Alvie Edwards, her mother Rhoda Powers and her brothers Jimmy Edwards and Jerry Edwards. Her cremation took place at “The Witness Crematory” located inside of Michigan Memorial Funeral Home.
