CORTESE, John J., age 49, of Allen Park, April 27, 2021. Beloved father of Nick Charles Cortese II and Christopher Cortese. Loving son of Janice and the late Nick Cortese. Dearest brother of Richard (Lynn) Cortese, William Cortese and Delana (Anthony) Renko. He is also survived by his nephews Caleb and Richard. His cremation will take place at “The Witness Crematory” located inside of Michigan Memorial Funeral Home. Inurnment in Michigan Memorial Park.

Jon was an easy-going guy and a bit of a joker. We were at different points in our lives but we were the same age. He always talked about how his sons were doing which I could relate to being a father of a son close to their age. He was pretty well-liked when we worked together. My family and I are saddened by his sudden passing. Our prayers go out to his family especially his two young sons. Rest in peace and God bless you, Jon. Sean Hobbs
