Condolences
- We just found out a bout Johns' death today at the Berlin Senior luncheon. Only knew him for a couple years but what a good guy. Always in an upbeat mood when he came through the doors of the Community Room. And we were lucky to attend a recent Rockwood Historical Meeting where John performed on the banjo and shared his knowledge of the instrument along with his son. One of a kind. We will miss him. God bless you, John. Michael Williams and Margaret Williams
- I am sending my love and condolences to Danny, Linda, Kelly, Kristen and Kevin and families. I didn't know Mr. Cole but I wanted to send my condolences to your family. Love you guys and praying for you all. Christine Nickolson
- Always there to help me with our animals. Many of our roosters went out to his farm. Best times sitting around the table in his kitchen, listening to him play the banjo he made me. I've not learned to play it yet but told me to not leave it a hangin on the wall, so I'd better get at it. We have lost a man of great faith and integrity. That smile always brightened my day and I learned to listen fast. Love you Mr. Cole...see you in heaven someday. Sue Fisher Jensen
- The world has lost a great man and I have lost a father figure. John has taught me everything I know about hunting, dogs and music. These are memories I will treasure forever. RIP John I will miss you buddy. Jeff Reynolds
- Never forget you and how you were always there to help me as a young kid in music... and for your kindness toward Mom and Dad as well. Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live, and everyone who lives and believes in me shall never die. Do you believe this?” Tim Stacy
