CAROTHERS, Lawrence B., age 66, of Romulus, December 30, 2016. Beloved father of Aaron (Mary) Carothers. Loving grandfather of Shawn, Maggie and Lucy. He is also survived by his brother William Carothers. Mr. Carothers was an avid musician in his late years he was known as “Northern Michigan Greatest Bass Player”. Larry Carothers was a strong willed man. He was a 16-year kidney transplant survivor. He battled Diabetes since childhood. He is preceded in death by his parents Stanley and Arlene Carothers and his sister Patricia A. Simpson. His cremation took place at “The Witness Crematory” located inside of Michigan Memorial Funeral Home.
