Obituary

Linda Carol Campbell, a devoted wife, cherished sister, and loving aunt, passed away  on November 16, 2025, at the age of 77. Born on June 24, 1948, in Jefferson City, Tennessee, she embraced life with grace and warmth until her passing in Brownstown, Michigan.

Linda was a woman of great faith and dedication, whose life was enriched by her love for the Lord and her commitment to nurturing and educating children. With a Master's Degree in Education, she spent many years as a teacher, inspiring countless young minds with her passion for learning. Her heart extended beyond the classroom as she also served as a foster parent, providing a loving home and guidance to those in need.

Her interests were as varied as they were fulfilling. Linda found joy in canning and quilting, crafting beautiful pieces of art with her hands. She was a devoted member of Lakeside Missionary Baptist Church for many years, where she was active in the women’s ministry and delighted in teaching many years of Sunday School to children, sharing her deep faith with the next generations. Among her many passions, she also took pleasure in raising Monarch butterflies, marveling at the delicate beauty of nature.

Linda was preceded in death by her loving son Paul Nelson Campbell, her parents, Dewey and Velma Bunch; her son,; her brothers, Jerry and David Bunch; her nephew, Randy Bunch; and her brother-in-law, Oscar Campbell.

Her memory will be cherished by her husband of 52 years, Dennis Campbell, who stood by her side through all of life's seasons. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Judy Bunch; her brothers-in-law, Joe Campbell and J.M. (Christine) Campbell; and her sisters-in-law, Elizabeth (Bill) Musham and Linda (John) Miller. Her love and wisdom live on in her nieces and nephews, including Amy (Wayne) Palmer, Lisa (Jack) Mosley, Tim (Vikki) Bunch, Jacob Bunch, Joshua Bunch, Gregory (Kristi) Campbell, Bradley (Lisa) Campbell, and Sarah DeWard, as well as in her many great-nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Lakeside Missionary Baptist or RBM Children's Ministries Release Time at Lakeside Church, honoring Linda's lifelong commitment to faith, education, and nurturing the spirit of children.
