Obituary

Maureen Elizabeth Clark, born on June 17, 1951, passed away on December 20, 2025, in Woodhaven, Michigan, at the age of 74. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.

Maureen dedicated her professional life to Chrysler Trenton Engine, where she worked for 32 years and retired as the Plant Manager Secretary. Her huge heart and friendly outgoing personality made her loved by all who knew her. She was also remembered for her role in running the Clothe a Child program which provided a nice Christmas for children in the Downriver area.

Outside of her career, Maureen cherished her family, especially her grandchildren, who held a special place in her heart. She was an avid camper and golfer, and she embraced the joy of holidays with enthusiasm and love. Known for her vibrant spirit, she was truly a people person. Always ready to strike up a conversation with anyone she met, and never one to part without a warm hug and a kiss. Her kindness and affection left a lasting impression on all who knew her.

Maureen was preceded in death by her parents, Fenton and Jessie McCormack, and her sister, Colleen McCormack. She leaves behind her devoted husband 45 years, Kenneth Clark; her daughter, Sheila (Jim) Morgan, and Kenny (Marie) Clark and Wendy Clark; and her cherished grandchildren, Lauren (Randy) Bowman and Brandon Morgan. She is also survived by her great-granddaughter, Eleanor Bowman; her siblings, Sharon Bono-Beaton, Fenton (Anita) McCormack, Michael (Vicki) McCormack, and Tim (Lisa) McCormack; as well as numerous nieces and nephews who will miss her dearly.

Maureen’s warmth, kindness, and zest for life touched all who knew her, and her memory will be forever treasured by her family and friends.

  • Maureen was a dear friend and co- worker. She was full of joy and kindness. Everyone loved her. We both loved golf and went to golf school in Indiana and took a girls golf trip to Naples, Florida. What wonderful memories. I will miss her so much! Carole Fular
