Obituary
Michael Spencer Crowder, Sr., of Flat Rock, Michigan, passed away on June 18, 2024, at the age of 80. He was born on November 10, 1943, in Ashville, North Carolina.
Michael dedicated 26 years of his life as the Owner of Michael's on the River and also owned Mike's Recreation in Newport. His passion for craftsmanship was evident as he learned to make jewelry and fix watches from his father-in-law. Michael was known for his skill as an avid pool player, always enjoying friendly competition with friends and family.
Michael is preceded in death by his parents, William and Mildred Crowder, and his grandson, Michael Crowder III. He is survived by his beloved wife, Carole Crowder, his children Kim, Kelly, and Michael Jr., his grandchildren Nicholas, William, Amanda, Michala, and Jorden, and his great-grandchildren Gianna, Sofia, Kaylahni, and Talia. He is also survived by his sisters Blonza Thomas and Michelle Crowder.
Friends and family are invited to pay their respects at the visitation on Saturday, June 22, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Michigan Memorial Funeral Home, with a service to follow at 7:00 PM.
Michael will be remembered for his hard work, dedication to his family, and his love for the game of pool. May he rest in peace.
