Obituary

"Foots"Paul G. Climpson, age 71, of Carleton, Michigan, passed away October 31, 2016 surrounded by his family. He was the beloved husband of JoAnn Climpson. He worked at Ford Motor Co. as a test driver and served in the U.S. Army. He was a Lifetime Honorary Member of the Detroit Highwaymen Motorcycle Club. He was also an avid dirt bike rider in the Ozone Competition Race Team. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, JoAnn, and his four children, Lesa McKesson, Denise (John) Bale, Tammy Climpson and Joseph Climpson. He is also survived by his 6 grandchildren Jason Richardson, Ashley Bale, BreeAnn Bale, Dallas James, Tyler Bale and Trey Cox-Climpson. He also had two brothers, Donald (Carol) Climpson and Kenneth Climpson, his niece Shirley Climpson and nephew Jeffrey Climpson. He is preceded in death by his parents William and Helen Climpson.

  • Were do I even start? What a great kind , loving, out spoken, caring man.. He welcomed me into his home 30 years ago and him and Jo treated me like family from day 1. May God keep his help this family get through these trying times of grief. Lord hold this family tight and guide them. Much love to you all.. I wish I could be there.
