Dear Sandy and family, I am so, so very sad to hear of Birdie's passing. He was just a wonderful, upbeat and loveable guy. I know you will miss his laughter and bright smile. Birdie had a way of making everyone feel special and he was so very happy to see you. Get togethers with classmates will not be the same without him. He will be very much missed by all who knew him. Rob was the best next door neighbor anyone could ask for. He treated my brother and I as if we were just another one of his kids. My 30 year old son Allen even remembers Rob taking him kayaking when he was about 12 years old. He was that guy. Thank you Rob for allowing us the privilege to know you. The world will never be the same without you in it.
