It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ronald Joseph Cywinski, who departed this life on March 10, 2025, in Southgate, at the age of 81. Born on May 24, 1943, in Wyandotte, Ronald lived a life rich with passion and love.
A man of many interests, Ronald was particularly fond of dining at the Six Star Restaurant in Southgate, where he often enjoyed meals that warmed his heart and soul. His deep affinity for animals was evident to all who knew him, with his beloved dog, Minnie, holding a special place in his heart for 28 years.
Ron's enthusiasm for classic cars led him to proudly own and showcase his cherished 1971 Malibu, affectionately named "Blue Persuasion." His dedication to this hobby was rewarded with over 100 trophies, a testament to his commitment and skill.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Virginia, his father, and his stepfather, Art Nichols, as well as his brother, Sonny Cywinski.
Ronald leaves behind a loving family, including his devoted wife, Ruth Cywinski, his caring friend, Amy Moore and her husband Timothy, and his brother, Thomas Cywinski. They, along with many friends and acquaintances, will deeply feel the void left by his passing.
Ronald Joseph Cywinski will be remembered for his warmth, his passions, and the love he shared with those around him. He will be greatly missed, but his memory will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him.
