Sevillah Carson was born on June 21, 1957, in Bluefield, West Virginia to Margie Dunford and Barnes Edward Gilbert of Pocahontas, Virginia. She was one of 8 children, 4 brothers and 3 sisters. She is survived by 3 sisters. Garnet (Edward) Prentice, Betty (the late Patrick) Pugh-Thompson and Connie (Monty) Prouty. She also leaves behind her fiancé and companion Terry Mitchell, of Skidway Lake, Michigan. Sevillah is survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. She was preceded in death by her mother Margie Dunford (Baraco), her father, Barnes Gilbert, and her brothers, Donald, Barnes, John and Roy. Interment in Michigan Memorial Park.
