William Harold Crawford, a beloved father, stepfather, and friend, passed away on December 21, 2025, in Westland, Michigan, at the age of 86. Born on October 17, 1939, in Campbell, Missouri, William lived a full and contented life shaped by his love for the outdoors and deep appreciation for nature.
Raised on a farm, William developed a lifelong passion for gardening, which he pursued with dedication throughout his life. His gardens reflected his nurturing spirit and brought joy to all who visited them.
William was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Crawford; his stepdaughter, Kristine Goins; his stepsons, Randy Ford and Russell Ford; his sister, Thelma Kinder; and four brothers.
He is survived by his children, David (Christine) Crawford and Scott Crawford; his stepchildren, Rick (Sandy) Ford, Lorraine Ford, Pamela Tabor, Thomas (Jeannie) Ford, Dennis Ford, Denise Ford, and Kimberly (Rick) Wall; and many great-grandchildren who brought him great joy.
William's kindness, warmth, and love for the natural world will live on through the family and friends who cherished him. He will be deeply missed.
