Obituary

Aiden Gregory Diroff of Huron Township, Michigan, born on February 4, 2008, left this world on June 22, 2024, in Aruba. Aiden lived a life full of passion and dedication, touching the hearts of many along the way. He was a bright soul who brought joy to those around him.

Aiden's journey was one of academic excellence and leadership, excelling in endeavors such as Quiz Bowl, serving as the Treasurer of the Student Council, being a part of the National Honor Society, participating in Math Club and E-Sports at Huron High School. His commitment to these activities showcased his drive and love for learning and competition.

Aiden, at the age of 16, he left us too soon, but his memory will forever remain in the hearts of his loving family and friends. He is survived by his devoted parents Mark and Renee Diroff, his beloved siblings Ashton and Andrew Diroff, and his caring grandparents Jeanne and Gregory Mosczynski, Mark and Linda Diroff, John and Debbie Eskew.

He is also survived by many family members; Rudolph Livernois (great-grandfather), Helen Mosczynski (great-grandmother), Geraldine Diroff (great-grandmother), Leo Diroff (great-grandfather), Ronald Disch (great-grandfather), Ronald (Rebecca) Diroff (uncle & aunt), Logan, Nolan, and Gavin Diroff (Cousins), Michael (Jessica) Eskew (uncle and aunt), Lilly Eskew (Cousin), Kristen Bruley (aunt), Oliver and Quinn Bruley (cousins), Ryan Mosczynski (uncle), Nathan Mosczynski (uncle), Kennedy Mosczynski (cousin). As well as many more aunts, uncles, great-aunts and uncles, cousins, family, and friends.

Aiden's passing is deeply felt by those who knew and loved him, as he joins his great-grandparents Dolores Livernois, Eugene Mosczynski, Evelyn and Michael Parimucha, and Virginia Reifsnider.

Although we mourn the loss of Aiden, let us also celebrate the light he brought into our lives and the inspiration he continues to be to us all. May his spirit live on in our cherished memories and may he rest in eternal peace.

In honor of Aiden and the organizations that he enjoyed in school, and in lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the Huron High School Quiz Bowl (a game in which two high school teams compete head-to-head to answer questions from a broad variety of subjects; NOTE: everyone knew how much Aiden LOVED Jeopardy!) and ESports (organized competitive electronic game play). • Aiden, it is so heartbreaking to have you taken so soon. But what an amazing legacy you have left! You never met a stranger and left everyone you spoke with so impressed with your intelligence and genuine kindness. To meet you was to love you. That's all it took. To leave such a huge impact on this world is truly admirable, but to have done so in just 16 short years when starting your life here on earth with seemingly unbeatable challenges - well, that's a miracle... just like you. You did good, kid. You will be missed, but more than that, you will be admired for many years to come. Thank you for thinking of us every year on our birthdays & holidays and for the gift of your presence. We all wish we could have had more, but are comforted knowing we now have a sweet, sweet angel loving us from above. Love always, Uncle Paul, Aunt Diana & cousins Rocco & Frankie. Paul & Diana Livernois

  • Dear Mark, Renee & family. Our deepest condolences & prayers to all of you. Aiden was Woodlands church miracle baby. We will never forget you both walking across the platform with your cardboard sign telling us about Aiden & what the doctors were saying.
