DOSSAI, Cynthia G., age 60, of Newport, October 3, 2011. Beloved wife of 14 years to Robert Woody. Loving mother of Joseph Robert Woody and step-mother of Joshua Woody, Ryan (Sarah) Woody and Eric (Jamie) Woody. Dear grandmother of Ryan and Brent. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Ruby Dossai. Cynthia and Robert met in Greenbush, MI and were married August 14, 1977. They lived with their son Joey in Newport where they were active members of Swan Boat Club. Cindy was president of the SBC Auxiliary and a member of the International Satin Gavel. Cindy made a career of helping others as a Certified Social Worker/Case Manager for Ausable Valley Mental Health and Monroe County Mental Authority. Since becoming seriously ill, she was taken care of by Mischaelle Mell. A Satin Gavel service is Friday, 7:00 PM and will be followed by a memorial service with her brother-in law Rev. Ronald Woody officiating
