- I'm So Sorry For your loss Joanne.He Was a wonderful person & Friend & Brother & Husband & Dad & He was a wonderful Christian.I'm A better Christian For Knowing Darrell & You. He Was a blessing to everyone he came in contact with or helped & just saying hello.You both were wonderful examples of wonderful Christians.he will definitely be missed he was a very special man.just his smile & Laughter that alone would cheer you up when he came into the church building he brighten the whole place we all are better Christians for just talking with him. He had a beautiful voice. I'm gonna miss him very much Heaven has gained a wonderful Christian & a wonderful man. - The entire Davis family were great people. Their kindness, love and care for others was a family tradition! Darrel was one if the sweetest, good-natured men ever known. He was kind, considerate and about the friendliest of anyone we’d ever known. We all attended the Garden City church of Christ during the 60’s and thats when our friendships began . Some great memories of Darrel which will last us a lifetime! He was loved by all who knew him and will be missed so much! Hopefully, we will all meet again in a perfect place called ‘Heaven’... - Joanne and family. I love you all and know that Darrel is leading singing for the Lord above all the angels. He was such a kind soul who always had a kind word and a smile for everyone. - Larry and I are heartbroken. We were children when we first met Darrel. Our families were close and we all went to Garden City CofC. Together. If you ever met Darrel he was a friend for life When you occasionally ran in to him the years just melted away. He was a friend for life to everyone. We sure will miss that big happy smile and the big hugs he gave out. We loved you Darrel and you will forever be in our hearts. Our love and prayers go you Joanne and both your families. I loved him leading singing in Marathon when the family would come down and we loved to visit and laugh and enjoy the blessings of being family in Christ. - So sorry to hear about your loss. Praying for Gods comfort, strength and peace for the family. I was so encouraged by his comments and his faith, it was great when I got the opportunity to meet him and even had lunch with him at one point.
