DARANY, Joseph S., age 97, of Naples, FL., November 17, 2021. Beloved husband of the late Elaine Darany of 72 years. Loving father of Gail (Wesley) Worth, Salem (Lillian) Darany, Jeanne (Michael) Weatherhead and Mary Rose Bristow. Dearest grandfather of Joseph, Emily, Bryan, Lauren, Michael, Julie, Suzanne, Amy, Brenden and Trevor and great-grandfather of 11. He is also survived by his brother George Darany and his sister Margaret Mourad. He is preceded in death by his grandson Bryan Weatherhead, his parents Salem and Wadia Darany, his brother Chuck Darany and his sister Sophie Haddad. Joseph was a charter member of St. Ignatius, founder of a church in Naples called St. Paul. He was a successful business owner who loved fishing and traveling. He was a proud WWII Vet. One of the last of the greatest generations. When asked about his life, his response was “I’ve always been lucky.”
