Loretta Mae Distefanis, born on February 2, 1947, in Brownsville, PA, passed away peacefully on August 11, 2024, in Canton, MI, at the age of 77. Loretta was a cherished daughter of the late George and Nellie Yodenes.
Loretta found immense joy in the simple pleasures of life. She had a profound passion for cooking, creating delightful meals that brought her loved ones together. Shopping was another of her beloved pastimes, allowing her to explore and enjoy life's little treasures. Her fondness for retail was evident, as she thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of it. Above all, Loretta treasured her time spent at home, finding contentment and comfort within its walls.
She is survived by her loving husband: James Distefanis, Sr., her dearest children: James Jr., Ann-Marie, and Jason Distefanis. Loretta's legacy continues through her adored grandchildren: Rachel (Travis) Slemp, Vincent Distefanis, and Taylor Distefanis. She will be deeply missed by her brother, Robert (Carol), and sister, Georgeann.
Loretta Mae Distefanis will be remembered for her warmth, love, and dedication to her family and home. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
