Obituary

Michael Dziedziak passed away peacefully on Tuesday July 7, 2026, at the age of 80.

Born and raised in Detroit, Michael was the eighth of nine children born to John and Anna Dziedziak. He attended St. Francis Elementary and St. Hedwig High School, graduating in 1964. Following his graduation, he was drafted into the U.S. Army, serving in the Vietnam War from 1965-1967. After his return, he began his career in printing at National Art Craft and retired from Heitman-Garand in 2008 after 40 years of service. In his personal life, Michael enjoyed listening to music, tinkering, going out to the family farm and meeting weekly with his brother-in-law Frank and any other family members who wanted to join for breakfast.

Michael is survived by his daughters Sharon (Ron) Jones and Denise (Patrick) DuRoss, his grandchildren Stevie (Sam) DiRezze, Richard DuRoss, Veronica Jones and Bronson Jones.

Dearest brother of Christine (Mike) Stempien, and brother-in-law Frank (Susan†) Kozdron and sister-in-law Karen (Mark†) Dziediak. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents John and Anna, his wife Linda Middleton and his siblings: John (Joan), Wally (Delphine), Frank (Lillian), Barbara, Greg, Susan Kozdron and Mark.

A Celebration of Life in memory of Michael will be held on Monday, August 10, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Michigan Memorial Park. An Honor Guard service will be held, with a luncheon to follow.
