Obituary
Paula Ray Dotson, born October 15, 1969, in Chattanooga, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on December 12, 2024, in Wyandotte, Michigan. She was 55 years old.
Paula was a dedicated and hardworking individual who spent her career as a Manager for an apartment complex. Her commitment to her work was matched by her passion for her hobbies. She found joy and tranquility in quilting and bird watching, pursuits that brought beauty and serenity to her life.
Paula's life was enriched by her loving family. She is survived by her devoted husband of 23 years, Lewis Dotson; her stepfather, Johnny Anderson; her sister Carrie (Freddie) Parris; her mother-in-law, Norma Fay Dotson; and her sister-in-law, Kim (Franco) Gonzalez. Paula also leaves behind many cherished nieces and nephews who will fondly remember their beloved aunt.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Linda Hayes; her sister, Tina (Benny) Bankston; her brother, Floyd Hickman; and her father-in-law, Paul Dotson.
Paula's warmth and kindness touched the lives of those around her. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends, who will forever hold her memory close to their hearts.
