Dossai, Ruby Jewel (nee) Toungette, age 86, went home to be with her Lord on April 30, 2011. Beloved wife for 52 years to Joseph. Loving mother of Cynthia (Robert Woody) Dossai. Dearest grandmother of Joshua, Ryan, Eric and Joseph and great grandmother of Ryan and Brent. Dear sister of Henry and Dumont Towngette. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Susan Towngette. Ruby worked as a Riveter at the Ford Bomber Plant at Willow Run Airport during World War II. Ruby and Joseph met in Lincoln Park, Mi and were married March 29, 1947 in Detroit, MI. They lived in Lincoln Park where their daughter Cindy was born. The family then moved to Wyandotte in 1954, where they stayed until 1997. Ruby and Joseph bought a house in Newport where they lived the until Joseph’s death in 1999. Since then, she has enjoyed spending the rest of her life in the care of Mischaelle and Ron Mell.
