Obituary

Terry Lee Dangerfield, born on January 15, 1955, in Hamtramck, Michigan, passed away on February 10, 2026, in Royal Oak, Michigan, at the age of 71.

Terry was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend, who dedicated his life to his family and his work. He served his country honorably in the United States Army, embodying the values of duty and service throughout his life.

Professionally, Terry worked as a mechanic for the Taylor School System, where he was known for his hard work and dedication. Those who knew him remember him as a kind, gentle, and loving man who always had a smile and a helping hand for those in need.

Terry is survived by his beloved wife, Jill Dangerfield, and his cherished children: Terry (Dawn) Dangerfield, Terra (Mike) Miller, Adam (Laura) Roe, and Amanda Roe. He was the proud grandfather to nine grandchildren: Drake, Logan, Gavin, Madison, Sophie, Zach, Connor, Madison, and Andrew, and the great-grandfather of Teddy. He also leaves behind his sisters, Betty Lupone and Carolyn Johnson, and brothers Rick Dangerfield and Tim Dangerfield, along with many other family members and friends who will miss him dearly. Last, but certainly not least, Terry leaves behind his cherished fur baby Daisy.

A memorial honor guard will be held to celebrate Terry's life and service on Saturday, February 21, 2026 at Michigan Memorial Park Pavillion. Family and friends to meet at Michigan Memorial Funeral Home at 9:30AM to process over to Michigan Memorial Park Pavillion.  His family and friends will gather to remember the wonderful man he was and the legacy he leaves behind.
