Obituary

ELDER, Evelyn D., age 85, of Grand Ledge, December 31, 2018. Beloved wife of the late Donald Elder. Loving mother of Martin (Dawn) Ruiz, Marty (Joyce) Ruiz, Diane Cairns (Chris Parfitt) and Linda King. Dearest grandmother of 8 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings Shelby Jacobs, Margaret (Rudy) Rodriguez and Jackie (Lillian) Deese. She is preceded in death by her parents Slocum and Bessie Deese and 4 brothers.

Condolences

Miss Evelyn is a dear friend to me and my family, I thank the Lord for the years of friendship and her faithful friendship with my dad. She will be greatly missed by us. It is our lose but heavens gain. We thank God that we have the hope that we will see her again, you have our deepest sympathy. We will continue to remember you in our prayers. Gerry Locklear
