ELLISON, Joseph G., age 88, of Belleville, January 19, 2021. Loving father of Michelle (Gary) Garrett, Leslie (Kenneth) Broome and Lori (Kenny) Lachut. Dearest grandfather of Ryan (Kristy), Sarah (Matthew), Joey (April), Brandon (Alicia), Carli (Manny), Matthew (Jennifer) and Emily (Mo) and great-grandfather of Clementine, Lars, Eleanor, Issac, Alex, Uriah, Jaxton, John, Waylon and one on the way. He is preceded in death by his granddaughter Chelsea and his sister Jean Siler. Joseph was a proud member of the VFW in Trenton. His cremation will take place at “The Witness Crematory” located inside of Michigan Memorial Funeral Home.

Dear Leslie,Michelle, and Lori, My heart goes out to you girls, as I know how heart wrenching the loss of Daddy’s can be. I would like to say that you girls need to know that you did your father so well throughout his time here, as he took a down turn and needed additional help with his every day life. You made sure in spite of our crazy times that he went out with dignity.
