Obituary
Kyle Preston Estes, born on February 26, 1931, in Jenkins, Kentucky, passed away on December 30, 2024, in Carleton, Michigan, at the age of 93. A beloved father, grandfather, and friend, he leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.
Kyle was an avid golfer who found joy and camaraderie on the golf course throughout his life. His passion for music was evident in the way he sang and played the harmonica during church services. He was an active member of the Woodhaven Free Will Baptist Church, where his musical talents uplifted many.
He is survived by his children: Larry Rickman, Kathy (Dave) Rayburn, Char (John LaDuke) Rickman, Junell (Kenny) Dorton, Tricia (Jamie Collert) Estes, and Dave, Donna, Diane, and Doug. His legacy continues through his grandchildren: Jennifer, Tiffany, Candice, Eugene, Larry, Faith, Troy, Tessa, Danny, Stephanie, Crystal, and Lindsay. He was also blessed with numerous great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces, nephews, family, and friends who will remember him fondly.
Preceded in death by his beloved wife, Wanda June Estes, his parents, and siblings Ruth, Grace, Ella Mae, John, and Phil, Kyle is now reunited with them in eternal peace.
