Condolences
- Linda (our mom) was THE GREATEST WOMAN we have ever known - and not just because she was our mom! She had wisdom that you can't get in a textbook & loved beyond what we thought a person could. She was KIND AND GIVING TO EVERYONE. No one felt unloved in her presence. She somehow always did and said the right thing. She had standards and morals that few ever achieve or possess. She came from poor and humble beginnings but worked hard & sacrificed to give her family what they wanted and needed, including taking a rather modest-paying job in order to put her three children through college. We spoke every day and shared extended visits with my father (Will) as well. He too worked with her on their goals, held the same morals and standards, and together they left an incredible legacy. After raising their family, they thoroughly enjoyed their six grandchildren. They were able to vacation & cruise to many places and enjoy all of their hard work...always while still continuing to give to others in so many ways. She (and our father) will be immeasurably missed, but we are all the better for having had them as parents, and others for having been touched by them. We all look forward to spending eternity together with God and Jesus in heaven. Scott Egner & Chris (Egner) Alexander
