FREEMON, Bobby, age 82, of South Rockwood, February 04, 2018. Beloved husband of Margaret Freemon. Loving father of Robert Freemon, James (Gina) Freemon and Patricia (the late Peter) Schmitt. Dearest grandfather of Kimberly, James, Michael, Kay and great-grandfather of Araylia, Zavian, Gage, London, Harmony and soon to be Melodie. He is also survived by his brother James Freemon. He is preceded in death by his parents James and Rhoda Freemon, his brother Roy Freemon and his sisters Josephine and Imogene. Born in Lawrenceburg, TN., Bobby moved to the Detroit area in 1952 to work in the automotive industry. He began working for General Motors in 1955 until retirement in 2001. After moving to Detroit, he met his wife Margaret. They were married in 1955 and recently celebrated their 62nd wedding anniversary. Bobby loved his family, especially the grand and great grand kids. In his spare time, Bobby enjoyed working in the yard, gardening and working crossword puzzles. Bobby was a lover of animals. Along with the many cats and dogs over the years, he also raised fish and birds of many different types. He passed on his love and compassion for animals to his children. He was also a life-time member of the Masons, Golden Ark Lodge 595 . Bobby will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
