Obituary
Carrie Finney, born June 18, 1955, in Detroit, Michigan, passed away on August 14, 2024, in Trenton, Michigan, at the age of 69.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Charles "Steve" Finney, and her cherished son, Steven "Jr." Finney. Carrie leaves behind a loving family, including her daughter Rachelle (Robert) Scott, her son Craig Finney, and her grandchildren: Cierra "Sis" (Jacob), Daniel "Brubby" (Mariah), Zachary, Averie, and Preston Charles. She is also survived by her great-grandsons Stephen and Ashton. Carrie will be deeply missed by her siblings Darlene, Ethel, Jessie, Lark, and Homer, along with many nieces, nephews, family, friends, and grand fur babies who were touched by her kindness and warmth.
Visitation for Carrie Finney will be held on Sunday, August 18, 2024, from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Funeral services will take place on Monday, August 19, 2024, at 11:00 AM, followed by interment in Michigan Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Michigan Humane Society in Carrie's honor.
