FREITAG, David L., age 79, of Romulus, September 28, 2023. Beloved husband of Cathy Freitag. Loving father of Jennifer (Jeffrey) Bronson. Dearest grandfather of David and William Bronson. He is also survived by his niece Cyndi (Lee) Wolf, grandnephews Cody (Sarah) Wolf and Parker Wolf, great-grandnephews, Colton and Waylon Wolf, brothers- and sisters-in-law, Paul (Christina) Liss, Dennis Liss, Patricia Dever, Rebecca Liss and many loving nieces and nephews. He will be dearly missed by his furbaby Hunter and his great-granddog Peanut. He was preceded in death by his parents Leo and Mabel Freitag, brother Henry Freitag, sister Judy Summers and brother-in-law, Kevan Liss. David proudly served his country in the Vietnam War. Memorial contributions may be made to P.O.E.T. Animal Rescue or to a floral tribute at the funeral visitation.
