Obituary
Garry Foster of Rockwood, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. Garry's love for the outdoors was evident in his passion for exploring nature and camping trips with his loved ones. He also had a fondness for cooking and a well crafted beer, enjoying the simple pleasures of life.
Garry's love for music was equally vivacious. He had an undeniable enthusiasm for concerts, where he found joy in the energy of live performances and the connection music brought to people. From small local venues to larger stages, he cherished every moment spent immersed in the rhythm and melodies of his favorite bands. These experiences were not just entertainment to him but opportunities to create lasting memories with those he loved.
Garry was preceded in death by his beloved parents, James and Leona Foster, and his sister, Stella Farner. He is survived by his daughter, Mary Kinsey, and her husband, John, of Woodhaven, MI; his son, Matthew Foster, of Carthage, NC; his treasured grandchildren, Jillian and Michael Kinsey; brother in law John Farner, of Newport, MI; nephew Shawn (Jessica) Farner of Newport, MI and niece Sarah (Adrian) Blicharski of Carleton, MI. Also, survived by his former wife, Shelly Breitenbach of Rockwood, MI.
Garry's humor and love will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His family and friends will forever hold him in their hearts as they remember the joy and laughter he brought into their lives.
Family will be having a private burial, with his final resting place at St. Charles Cemetery, Newport, MI.
