- I am saddened to hear of Jerry's passing. I was a friend of Jerry throughout our schools days in Ferndale/Hazel Park. My mind is rushing with memories of: whiffle ball, baseball in the open lot near his house, basketball and board games. He was active in the youth group at First Baptist Church in Hazel Park. He was a easy guy to be around...and so smart. He was a supportive friend. We enjoyed spending long summer days at each others home. Neighborhood friends passing through as the summer days rolled on. Those were the days of carefree living. Jerry was not only a friend, but a brother in Christ. He is rejoicing with his Heavenly Father. For the Fowler family, I am praying for you. That the love of God and the peace He can provide will be yours now in the coming days. Joel Wrobbel Gahanna Ohio Joel Wrobbel
- My sincere condolence on the passing of Jerry. He was my neighbor back in Ferndale for 24 years, until I got married. I guess you could say we were the brat neighborhood kids on East Webster Street. I remember playing with Jerry in the open field, such as baseball, kickball and football. Along with those long summer days of playing Monopoly and Risk games on his front porch for days. One is his sisters used to do our hair and nails too. Jerry will be greatly missed.
