FEATHERSTONE, Mary Carol., age 69, of Grosse Ile, February 06, 2023. Beloved life-long friend John J. Gorecki. Loving mother of John A. Gorecki. Dearest sister of John Featherston and Nancy Featherston-Peterson-Rios. Mary was an avid gardener, her favorite flower to grow was red geraniums but she had a love for all flowers. She enjoyed traveling, animals, cooking for everyone and loved to eat. Her favorite places in Michigan were Southeast Michigan and Grosse Ile. Mary was always smiling and loved making people laugh. She enjoyed listening to music especially Celtic music, and Carole King. She will be missed and was loved by everyone that knew her. She was preceded in death by her daughter Amy Katherine Gorecki, parents Albert and Maureen Featherstone. Her cremation will take place at “The Witness Crematory” located inside of Michigan Memorial Funeral Home.
