Obituary
Barbara Ann Griser, born on January 10, 1940, in Watertown, South Dakota, passed away on June 4, 2026, in Grosse Ile, Michigan, at the age of 86.
Barbara found great joy in talking with others, playing bingo and visiting The Golden Corral. She especially loved Washington State, where she lived most of her life.
She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Harold and Ann Boss, and her siblings, Maxine McCovey, and Marlene Nevares.
Barbara leaves behind a loving family: her daughter Patricia Compos and son-in-law Nick, as well as her grandchildren, Sophia, Zoe, and Yianny. She is also survived by her siblings, Donna Engels and Harold Boss, along with his wife Sonja.
Barbara’s humor, candor, stories and memory will continue to be a source of comfort and inspiration to her family and friends.
