GRUNWALD, Cynthia A., age 63, of Newport, May 31, 2024. Beloved mother of Catrina Grunwald and Pete Grunwald. Loving grandmother of Jake, Amya, Kale, Nevaeh, and great-grandmother of Alice. Dearest daughter of Dale and Sally Pitock. She is survived by her siblings Geri (Gary) Newton, Dale (Melissa) Pitock, Jeff (Christa) Pitock, and many loving nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her son Bryan Grunwald and husband David Grunwald. Cynthia loved traveling and collecting things. She was very dedicated to her job being a Registered Nurse for 30+ years. Even in Cynthia's passing, her memory lives on in the lives of others as she had chosen to be an organ donor. She will be loved and missed by many. Her cremation will take place at “The Witness Crematory” located inside of Michigan Memorial Funeral Home.
