Donna R. Grainger went home to her God and family on March 2, 2016 .Born on November 1, 1930, she was the 6th of 7 children born to Henry Ryman and Gladys (Stevens) in Saginaw MI.On September 26, 1953, she married Fred T. Grainger at the First Congregational Church in Saginaw and they celebrated their 50th anniversary in 2003. He preceded her in death in 2006.Donna was employed by the Monroe County Health Department as a public health registered nurse and retired from there in 1993.She attended the Carleton United Methodist Church and was active in the choir. She enjoyed traveling with her husband Fred on land and ship. Donna was a Camp Fire Girls leader as well as a Camp Tawanka nurse when her daughters and granddaughters went there. She spent many hours researching genealogy, knitting and sewing. Donna was preceded in death by grandson Michael Dionne JR, granddaughters Jessica and Rebekah Dionne and great-granddaughter Hannah Dionne as well as brothers Henry JR, Jack, David and sisters Ruth and Margaret. She is survived by daughters Margaret (Midge) Grainger-Dionne and Kathryn (Muff) Grainger, grandchildren Elizabeth Dionne, Elliot and Isaac Grainger, great-grandchildren Kyleigh Dionne, Travis DeRoch, Kyle Dionne, Madison Dionne and great-great-grandson Eli Fudoli and a brother Harold Ryman.Special thanks to Nancy Montri and Kathy Owens of Henry Ford Home Care.
