- “Joe the Pro” could probably tell you how to get un-lost from anywhere in Ohio, could redirect you around any weigh station, and knew where all the staties and speed traps were. He was a great conversationalist, even if we didn’t align politically, and was a lot of fun to work with, especially when he was in the office with us. He had a big heart, and he cared about us in the office, even when our jobs meant we had to be the bad guy every now and then. My heart his broken, we lost another good one. Rest In Paradise, Joe. Watch the road for us. Lyndsey Hodson
- My sincere condolences to the entire Gurner family. I’ve known Joe and his twin JoAnn since our days at Taylor Junior High School. I’m so very sorry for your loss. LuAnn McGowan
- Dear Sharon, I'm so sorry for the loss of your dear husband Joe. I'm sure he will be missed by all his family and friends. Prayers and hugs to all of you. Thinking of you during this difficult time. CINDY ANN BUZZIE
