One day, Rose went home with Lena and that’s where she met Joe, Rose was 10 years old and Joe as 15, He didn’t pay much attention to Rose, she thought he was really handsome. As the years went by they got to know each other more and more, they spoke of maybe getting married when they got older. Joe then had to leave for the service he was 21, he was gone for over three years. When he returned things were different between them they kind of separated, Joe and Rose went their own ways and married different people, they didn’t see each other for over 40 years, Joe’s sister Lena called Rose one day and told her that Joe’s wife had passed away a while back and could Joe call Rose and she said yes. Joe came over to the house, they got reunited and got married six months later and have been married for 30 years. Joe worked at HH tube company as a tool and die maker got laid off and went to work for GM, he retired from GM after 16 years. Joe and Rose went everywhere together, Joe would go with Rose to the beauty shop every Saturday and sat for hours and talked to all the ladies in the shop while she got her hair done, He would go to the stores with Rose and find a comfortable chair to sit in while she shopped.
