GAMBINO, Joseph G., age 78, of Southgate, January 13, 2016. Loving father of Donna Piccione, Matt and Nicholas Gambino and grandchildren. Dear uncle of Laura Kalish, Don, Sam Jr. and Todd Gambino. He is survived by his brother Samuel Gambino and sister Catherine Govan. Joseph was a local and respected artist and was active with the Downriver Council for the Arts. He volunteered at Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital for many years and was a devoted employee of the Ecorse Public School system for 40 years. He is preceded in death by his daughter Constance Gambino and his parents Samuel and Connie Gambino. His cremation will take place at “The Witness Crematory” located inside of Michigan Memorial Funeral Home.
