Obituary

Judy Lynn Gregory, born on May 31, 1958, in Dearborn, Michigan, passed away on June 2, 2024, in Brownstown, Michigan at the age of 66.

Judy leaves behind a legacy of love and memories cherished by her surviving family: sons Russell (Haley) Gregory and Nathan (Mary) Gregory; step-daughters Cristy, Jennifer, and Heather; grandchildren RJ, Oliver, Violet, as well as many other step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her father, Richard Tokarz, brother, Stephen (Janet) Tokarz and sister, Christine (Tom) Miller mourns her passing alongside her family and friends. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Russell Gregory, Sr., her mother Virginia Tokarz, and brothers Richard, and Michael.

Judy had a deep love for the outdoors, spending her days tending to her plants and meticulously caring for her yard to ensure she had the most perfect grass in the neighborhood. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life, especially when she could relax by the beach, looking out at the tranquil waters. A dedicated Red Wings fan, Judy’s family and her passions were at the center of her world. Judy was also a woman of strong independence.

Cremation will take place at “The Witness Crematory” located inside Michigan Memorial Funeral Home. In honoring her memory, may we find solace in the love and strength she shared with all who knew her.

  • Judy was my beautiful cousin that I remember being so sweet with a smile that lit up the room. I was so saddened by the news of her passing. My deepest condolences to the family and everyone who loved her. Praying for you all! Cathy (Collins) Villarrel
  • We are so deeply sad that Judy passed. She was our good neighbor behind us. We enjoyed her and Russell 's barbeque 's and conversations over the fence. Our prayers are with the family Cindy & Steve
  • I am so sorry for your loss. Treasure the good memories. ♥️ Maribeth Migliaccio
  • Sorry to learn of Judy’s passing. Bill & I had a good visit with her and Russell and family during our Anniversary trip to Niagara Falls. Afterwards Judy and I spoke occasionally on the phone. She was a sweetheart! Bill/Cathy Ketts. Bill Ketts
  • Judy will always be among my fondest early childhood memories! Church on Sunday at St. Henry’s and then off to Aunt Virg, and Uncle Riches house to visit them and the cousins, Judy, Richard Michael, Steve, and Christine. It was a ritual every Sunday. Judy was a wonderful cousin, a great listener and a good confident. I loved her very much! As she moves on to her next phase, Everlasting life, I’m sure she will be thrilled with all the wonders of Heaven and family members who arrived before her. I will miss you Judy, until we meet again….. Love, David David M Chormann
