GARRETT, Luann J., age 63, of Southgate, September 13, 2021. Beloved wife of James Garrett. Loving mother of John James Garrett and Jamie Leigh Garrett. Dear grandmother of Bodhi Streeter. Dearest sister of Donna (Richard) Gerdy, Carol (Bill) Spingler, Laura (John) Pritchett, Ross Poupard and Walli Poupard. She is preceded in death by her parents Louis and Julie Poupard. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Children’s Hospital Detroit.

I absolutely loved LuAnn, she was my sister in law and friend years ago and every time I think of her I see her beautiful smile. I’ll never forget her telling me how to pronounce Poupard, she said say it loud and say it proud! RIP dear LuAnn and love to the family Karen (Poupard)Lassila

I graduated from Trenton High School the same year as Luann and I grew up in a neighborhood not far from her family's home. I will always remember Luann's beautiful smile and her laughter. She always brought a ray of sunshine when I was near her. I am sorry to learn of her passing and I will keep Luann and her family in my prayers always. Kate Doerfler
