Obituary

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Robert Goleniak on January 14, 2022, at the age of 44.He was born in Dearborn, Michigan on March 9, 1977. He was survived by his parents, Claudia and Joseph Goleniak, and his three siblings, Toni Scott, Eric Goleniak, and Matthew Goleniak. He was a beloved son, brother, nephew, uncle, cousin, pet parent, and friend to many. Robert had the biggest and brightest personality; full of energy, love, and light. He was known for being a simple man, enjoying all the simple things in life. He loved the outdoors, the beach, watching the sunset, hunting, fishing, boating, gardening, coin collecting, being in nature, and being present in the moment. His motto in life was “Life is good!” and he lived by that every day, faithfully. He was and still serves as a reminder that life can be good, light, and full of simple things that bring us joy. Resting in heaven, we can find comfort in hearing him say, “Life was good, baby!”.

  • The time spent with Robert G. was always going to put a mark in my heart and the heart of everyone that actually listen and heard his word and dream about life. I’ve only known Rob for a little over two months but he opened his life to me in the first day, a good friend and friends to many, God Bless his soul, With loving memories. Sergey A. Sergey Arnold
  • Robert was such a kind and gentle soul. When he posted on FB I was always delighted to read how his day was going, and any little thing he did he was always so excited. And yes he loved his animals. Gone too soon. Robert Rest in Peace. You will be missed by everyone. Love you Aunt Sharon and Ian
