Robert was a man who brought laughter and joy to those around him. His presence was marked by a resonant laugh that echoed through the ages, and he was truly a people person who enriched the lives of everyone he met.
He carried a deep love for sea turtles and often spoke of the importance of being the change to save them. Robert's compassion extended to all living beings, as he could not bear to see anyone hurt. He had an unwavering loyalty and caring nature that made him beloved by many. A big nerd at heart, Robert loved gaming and found joy in the worlds it unlocked.
With two supercharged jet skis, Robert and his beloved wife, Jenn, shared countless exhilarating moments on the water. His affection for vehicles was evident in his cherished F-150 and his bright green Ford Mustang, lovingly referred to as the "Big Green Weenie." An animal lover, he adored his furry companions Louis James, Mom Cat and Baby Cat.
Robert's life was beautifully intertwined with Jenn's from the moment they met when she was 16 at the Shelter at St. Andrew’s Music Hall. She first heard his mighty voice there, and by the time she was 18, he marked a memorable occasion by buying her first beer—a PBR—at the Magic Stick. A memory that sticks out to Jenn was when they went to Warped Tour and watched The Story of the Year together, their moments were cherished and numerous, that marking one of Jenn's best moments of her life. Robert treasured every moment with Jenn, ensuring she always felt safe by his side.
A dreamer with practical aspirations, Robert always envisioned owning a piece of land to cultivate and grow food. He took pride in tending to his property, especially enjoying time on his rider mower.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Debra Griffiths.
