Obituary
Rusty Allan Gray, born on April 25, 1962, in Lincoln Park, Michigan, passed away on June 19, 2026, in Monroe, Michigan. He was 64 years old.
Rusty was a man of many interests and passions. He found joy in life's simple pleasures, whether it was casting a line while fishing, tending to his yard, or sharing a hearty laugh with his unique sense of humor. A lover of classic rock music and professional wrestling, Rusty enjoyed these favorites as much as he cherished his moments of travel, always embracing new experiences with a smile. Known for his lighthearted nature, he often said he loved to stay happy, living by his own philosophy.
Rusty was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Alfred and Loretta Gray Jr. He is survived by his devoted wife, Traci Gray; his loving daughter, Sarah Gray, and her partner, Josh McCoy. Rusty will also be dearly missed by his siblings, Linda (Richard) Legault, Alfred (Gail) Gray III, and Sheila (Jeffrey) Dickinson. He leaves behind one niece and numerous nephews, including Gabriel Frank-Young, who was like a son to him.
He is also survived by his mother-in-law, Theresa Young; father-in-law, Douglas Young; and father-in-law, Dennis (Rosemary) Candela, Brother and Sister In laws Dawn Young, Carmel Harpest, Giovanni Candela and Maria (Michael) Hult, alongside a host of extended family and friends who will remember him fondly.
Rusty's presence brought laughter and happiness to those around him, and he will be remembered for his warm heart and joyful spirit.
