Sally Ann Gooch, a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully on April 1, 2026, in Allen Park, Michigan. She was born on July 22, 1965, in Detroit, Michigan, and gracefully lived to the age of 60.
Sally was a woman who found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She delighted in gardening, where she cultivated not only plants but also beauty and tranquility in her surroundings. Her love for shopping was evident to all who knew her, as she had an eye for detail and a knack for finding the perfect item. Above all, Sally cherished spending time outdoors, basking in the warmth of the sun and the serenity of nature.
She is preceded in death by her beloved parents, Carl and Virginia Hargis. Sally is survived by her devoted husband, Damian Darilek, who stood by her side with unwavering love and support. She leaves behind her two adoring sons, Kevin (Lindsey) Gooch, and Keith (Mariah) Gooch, as well as her treasured grandchild, Levi, who brought immense joy to her life.
Sally's memory will be lovingly carried forward by her sister, Becky (John) Higgins, along with her nephews, Aiden and Brendon, who held a special place in her heart. Her dear friend, Lisa Evanoff, shared countless moments of laughter and companionship with Sally over the years.
Sally Ann Gooch will be remembered for her warm smile, generous spirit, and the love she gave so freely to those around her. Her presence in our lives was a blessing, and she will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
