Shirley Rose Green, born on February 20, 1936, in Benton, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on February 6, 2026, in Wyandotte, Michigan, at the age of 89.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Billie Lenn Green; her father, William McKinley Dalton; her mother, Lillian Mae Baxter Dalton; her brother, Jerry Boyd Dalton; her grandson, John Lenn Green; and her great-grandson, Mason Forrest Green.
She is survived by her loving son, Randy Green, and his wife, Peggy Sue. She also leaves behind her cherished grandson, Adam Thomas Green, and his wife, Rachelle, as well as her dear great-grandson, Hunter Quentin Green. Shirley will be deeply missed by her family and friends, who will always remember her gentle spirit and generous heart.
A private immediate burial service is scheduled for Thursday, February 12, 2026. Shirley's family appreciates the support and condolences during this time of mourning and asks for privacy as they come together to celebrate her life and legacy.
