Obituary
Thomas Hoover Goodman, affectionately known as Tommy, passed away on January 8, 2025, in Flat Rock, Michigan, at the age of 53. Born on November 29, 1971, in Trenton, Michigan.
Tommy was a man who found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He had a deep love for fishing and treasured the yearly trips he made to Naples, Florida, where he could relax and indulge in his favorite pastime with his family. Music was a significant part of Tommy's life, with a special fondness for Bluegrass Gospel and Rock and Roll.
More than anything, Tommy loved helping people, especially taking care of his close family members and friends. He cherished spending time with his family, Tommy also enjoyed a warm bonfire where stories were shared, and memories were made.
Tommy is preceded in death by his beloved grandson, Michael Thomas, and his dear parents, Thomas and Dottie. He leaves behind a loving family who will forever cherish his memory: his daughters, Ashley and Brielle, his sisters, Sandy Wisniewski (Charlie), Lisa Kelley (Don), Ida Miller (Mike), and Judy Bruck (Paul). Cherished uncle of 12 nieces and nephews, 12 great nieces and nephews, as well as 1 great-great niece. His legacy of kindness and love will continue to live on through them.
Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation on Monday, January 13, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Michigan Memorial Funeral Home, where a service will be held at 7:00 PM. Following the services, Tommy will be laid to rest in a serene entombment at Michigan Memorial Park.
