Obituary
Tim Allen Gibson, born on December 21, 1977, in Ypsilanti, Michigan, passed away on November 5, 2025, in Flint, Michigan, at the age of 47. A devoted husband, loving father, cherished grandfather, brother, uncle and beloved friend, Tim's life was a testament to joy, adventure, and an unfailing love for his family and friends.
Tim spent his career working diligently at an iron foundry, a testament to his love for working with his hands and his restless spirit. He was never one to sit still for long, always seeking the next adventure or project. Whether exploring the great outdoors or embarking on spontaneous travels, Tim embraced life with enthusiasm and vigor.
Known for his infectious sense of humor, Tim was a master of jokes, bringing laughter to everyone he encountered. He possessed a true appreciation for life's simple pleasures, especially when it came to food. His passion for cheese was well known, and he was always first in line for a hearty helping of mac and cheese. No-bake cookies were another favorite, and his wife, Tracy, fondly remembers how quickly they vanished as soon as they hit the tray.
Tim was dedicated to his family, frequently checking in on them just to say hello and ensure they felt loved. He bestowed unique nicknames upon his family and friends, a testament to the special bond he shared with each of them.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Mark and Alma. Tim is survived by his loving wife, Tracy; children Ryan (Hannah), Hailey (Erik), and Cadence; grandchildren McKenna, Michael, and Lila; and his siblings Jeannie, Amy, and Debbie. He also leaves behind several nieces and nephews who will miss him dearly.
Family, friends, and those whose lives Tim touched are invited to celebrate his life on Sunday, November 9, 2025, at Michigan Memorial Funeral Home, where visitation will be held from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A service will take place at 6:00 PM. On Monday, November 10, 2025, Tim will be given a final ride in a customized Harley-Davidson Hearse, followed by interment at Michigan Memorial Park.
Tim Allen Gibson will be remembered for his warmth, humor, and adventurous spirit. He brought light into the lives of those around him and leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter.
