Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Amanda Leigh Holt, who passed on May 4, 2026, at the age of 44. Born on July 26, 1981, in Kings Mountain, North Carolina, Amanda brought joy and warmth to all who knew her. She passed away peacefully in Wyandotte, Michigan, surrounded by her loving family.
Amanda was a devoted daughter, mother, aunt, grandmother, sister, and friend. She cherished her family deeply and found immense joy in the presence of her beloved grandchildren, Scarlett and Benton. Her love for all the babies in her family was boundless, and she delighted in watching them grow and thrive.
A true lover of nature, Amanda found peace and solace in the great outdoors. Her passion for animals, especially her dogs, was evident to all who knew her. She had a gentle spirit and a kind heart, always ready to lend a helping hand to any creature in need.
Amanda's faith was a guiding light in her life. She loved Jesus and found strength and comfort in her beliefs. Music was another source of joy for Amanda, and she often filled her home with melodies that lifted her spirits and those around her.
She is preceded in death by her father, Timothy Holt. Amanda leaves behind a loving family who will forever cherish her memory: her mother, Patricia Turner; her daughter, Madison Holt (Charley Gilliam), her treasured grandchildren, Scarlett and Benton; her siblings, Jamie(Dion) Craig, and Timothy (Sarah) Holt; and her nieces and nephews, Dion Jr. (Lisa) Craig, Chase, Jayden (Natalie) Craig, Landin, Wyatt, Dion, and Colby.
Amanda's warmth, kindness, and love will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her legacy of love and compassion will continue to inspire those she leaves behind.
