Arturo served his nation honorably as a proud United States Marine Veteran, carrying with him the values of courage and discipline throughout his life. After his military service, Arturo devoted many years as a skilled Diesel Mechanic with Roush, where he was known for his work ethic and expertise.

He also delighted in trying his luck with lottery tickets, always hopeful for a surprise win. Arturo tended lovingly to his rose garden, finding peace and beauty among the blooms.

A true car enthusiast, Arturo held a deep appreciation for classic cars, finding joy in their timeless design and history. His commitment to serving others extended beyond his career and military service, as he dedicated time to volunteer for the Downriver for Veterans organization, supporting fellow veterans in his community.

Arturo is preceded in death by his beloved son Pablo; grandchildren David and Ashleigh; sister Olga; and parents George and Isabel. He is survived by his devoted wife Janice; cherished children Kimberly (Douglas), Arturo, Michelle, Amy (Larry), Gary Lee, Wayne Justin, Antonio, and Monica; and his adoring grandchildren Amber, Rickki, Caitlin, Carey, Christina, Dominic, Drew, Joseph, Renee, Paul David, Mark, Nicole, and Tyler. Arturo's legacy continues with his great-grandchildren Theodore, Marleigh, James, Haileigh, Makayla, Elijah, Brian, Gavin, Madisyn, Cora, Leonardo, Rocco, Eva, Zoe, and Chloe; and his great-great-grandchildren Lilliana, Mitchell, and Willow. He is also survived by his siblings George, Cilvia, Yolanda, and Mary, as well as numerous nieces and nephews who will remember him fondly.
